“West Virginia’s economy has already been significantly damaged by the EPA’s overreaching regulations and the looming release of the power plant rule.”
WASHINGTON – June 10, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) issued the following statement on the “State of West Virginia v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency” case:
“West Virginia’s economy has already been significantly damaged by the EPA’s overreaching regulations and the looming release of the power plant rule. The imminent release of this more stringent, restrictive rule required a proactive effort on behalf of the states to push back on this administration’s war on coal, and I commend West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey for his leadership in this case.
“When the rule is finalized, I am confident that we will be back before the court to demonstrate the harm the EPA is causing the miners and families of West Virginia,” Rep. Jenkins said.
