U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) issued the following statement regarding a new analysis on the impacts of the “Clean Power Plan” from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) out today:

An energy efficiency plan proposed by Congressman David B. McKinley, P.E., (WV-1) passed the House with wide bipartisan support today. The Energy Efficiency Improvement Act encourages owners and tenants to voluntarily improve energy efficiency by using incentives not punishments.
